S4 (NA) Injectors Not firing??? @ProjektCarModz On IG for vids
Hi guys I'm back with the latest issue.. Of course I've did some research, but would like some advice.
It's as the title says at least I think or maybe I'm delusional... XD But I need to make sure I'm doing everything right etc. etc...
Major Details: (Recently Purchased FC)
1. Old tank/fuel pump had something black & gooey in it + an extremely large amount of it/ & was also was rusted out. I replaced that & the tank with a Aero motive LP340 & a clean tank from my roller fc.
2. My fuel pump relay is out of commission (Not working), but the previous owner added a switch under the dash which is a bypass like the one under the hood?!
2a.I am getting fuel back to my return hose so that checks out.. (Yes it's properly installed & routed correctly)..
3.My CAS certainly is not the issue as I have spark & can start my vehicle & it will run until all the fuel is gone if sprayed into the intake.
4.I have several ECU's although the car is a N326 I believe which all are in working order as they work on others cars fine... I have power to all 4 green injector wires in my (s4 rx7) Unless I was confused in the rotards arguing & it's the black/yellow wire of which isn't 12v with key on.
Solid Points+Questions for you guys.
1.The injectors are either clogged (Which I doubt any GOO ever made it through the pumps filter) or they're simply not firing..
2. 2morrorw (hopefully) I'll have the time to pull the intake manifold & check/confirm this, but was wondering if there are any OTHER shortcuts to checking? AFTER THE ECU's green wires which all had 12v???
3. Apparently injector click doesn't mean the injectors are firing please refrain from telling me this as I couldn't hear by myself anyhow whilst cranking.
4. Is there some injector fuse some where under the dash orrrr? Do I need to just stfu & replace the injectors bc that's my issue??
I'm trying to diagnose this before I spend time taking apart the intake & spending money on replacing these injectors I should get tested/replaced anyways as it may be something stopping them from firing which I'd like to at least try.
