I was trying to find out if I could use my S4 turbo wiring harness on a S5 turbo motor. I know the injector plugs are different, but I can change those easy. And to deal with the omp, I'm going to premix. With this done and the injectors changed to S4, can my S4 ecu and wiring harness work on a S5 motor?

 

which ecu are you planing on using? and are you planing too hook up all the emissions stuff or remove them?

 

Planning on using a S4 n333 ecu. I want to leave all the emissions on that are on the motor to smog it and then take it off. I'm going to tell the smog people that the motor is an 89 motor, so they don't think I took off the egr valve. I believe everything esle should be alright.

 

well if they do look for an egr vavle. you will probably fail even with the swap. in cali you would.

But the engine could run with the S4 wiring harness and N333 ecu?

Why not say anything about smog. They smog to the engine not the car. If you put a sb 350 in the car, they would have to smog to that engine.
