S4 diag connector to S5 front harness, ECU side connection?
S4 diag connector to S5 front harness, ECU side connection?
Anyone know how I hack this up so I can get some blinks out of that shiet? Nothing is connected atm, so I am starting with a blank page so to speak.
Just got a new front harness plug to the ECU, the wires are different colors from the previous plug, so I guess the new plug is S5, while the harness itself is S4 of course, as my car is.
I do NOT have the engine check light, meaning I have to use the JDM/S4 way of checking my codes with two light bulbs or leds and one ground wire (or opposite, anyways).
Cheers, Jim

Tried connecting them as they should be according to the wiring diagrams, no go, only got steady 7.7 volts, same as the battery.
Even though I am low on power it should give the morse code signal, as I have no TPS connected.
I guess a lamp staying on means I'm screwed, buy a new car? :P
No, anyways, my connector was way different than the stock one or what the FSM says: Where the FSM says Y and Y/B, mine were W/R and W/B. Anyone know why this is as it is?

Nvm I got it hacked together somehow. For the interested, 12, 18 and 2X, the last was 22 or 23, which isnt even an error code on the FC. But the first are both TPS's, meaning that the wiring is shot, or the plug in my case.
