s4 car na,s4II engine,s4 na tranny with TII rear end will this work

hi im wondering if i can use my na tranny with TII rear end. Will the na drive shaft connect? The reason i ask this is because i cant afford the tii tranny right now lol. I need to get my car running so will this work if not ill have to buy tII tranny. Also just to clarify its a 86 base that im putting a sr TII motor in with 5 lug conversion and TII lsd rear end. thanks.

so basically the only option is the tii tranny and driveshaft correct? What about the mazdatrix driveshaft, built for tii with na tranny?

You got that backwards.

The Mazdatrix one is for a TII tranny and N/A rear end.

Shouldn't be too expensive if you're patient actually. $500 sounds good, but overall it'll be worth it if you choose to modify the car past stock levels (even just with the n/a tranny you can eat it up with a TII engine).

The TII transmission will NOT bolt up to the NA rear without a custom drivehshaft or the Mazdatrix Driveshaft (http://www.mazdatrix.com).

Its a TII Tranny to NA rear driveshaft so yes, it'll work with a stock NA rear end (with the turbo transmission).

Good luck!

I've read in a couple of places that you can use the auto tranny driveshaft as well, true or false?

The other option would be to also get the TII diff. that's a bit tougher then the N/A.

Its also more cost effective, I've seen them for $150 + shipping and no more then $400.

Its kinda odd, but they ARE harder to find nowadays.

By what I meant for cost effective is a TII rear end. I forgot to mention that, just to clear up any confusion.
