s4 block with s5 manifolds?

i was wondering about something, what if i were to get an s4 block but then use s5 manifolds, would this work? i herad from someone that the s4 blocks only weakness is the intake manifolds and if i were to swap these things it would be better. i wanna verify this with you guys lol.

Arrow

If your talking about n/a then you will have to get a rpm switch and a small airpump to operate the VDI.

Go to www.teamfc3s.org/forum and search for it. There are two great threads showing how to do it and two different ways of actuating the ports.

that i dont know ...

the reason i did it was cause i bought JSPEC manifolds (insert ricer joke here)

they didnt have the EGR portion of the emissions, so i assumed it might flow a wee bit better ... im sure it doesnt, but **** it .. you know ?

No, infact using the entire S5 intake system on a S4 car has proven to lower HP.

The only way to get an increase in HP is to mate the S5 VDI/UIM to the S4 LIM and of course wire up some RPM switches and solenoids.

This has been covered quite a few times. Please use the search fuction found in the upper right hand corner of the page.

does that count for just NA's or does the HP #'s also drop for turbo applications?

That is only on non turbos... I have not tried it on Turbos so that I or others can say an answer without any doubts.
