I've already posted this a couple of times but I'm gonna try it under a different ttl and see if I get any other responses...

Hey guys, I need some help. I have a '90 N/A with a disintegrated APEX seal. I need to find another motor and rebuild this one but in the mean time I need a mode of transportation. I have three S4 engines and only one running S4 car. Is it possible to put an S4 block into an S5 body??? The last time I tried the car wouldn't idle below 2000rpm and had no power and this and that...jes lots of problems. If you have any ideas or know of anyone I can call or anything please let me know...I really need something to happen quick.

did you swap the ecu and harness also? i'm guessing you'd have to move those over with the engine.

Na...My first attempt was a do it quick kinna thing...And plus...if I have to I'll swap the electronics but that's something I would like to avoid beings I'm gonna put the correct engine back in it...I would just thing that there has got to be a way them work.

I don't know for certain what the front covers are...but If they are what I tink they are wouldn't I have to tear the engine down to do it?
