S4 A&B pillars into an S5?
Anyone know if they are just a simple swap?
I no longer have the power seat belts and don't want the big gap from the A pillars that are from the S5 ones.

No, it's not a "simple swap".
Both times I've swapped mousetracks for manual belts, I used S5 plastics because the S4 mounting points are different.
Even the S5 A-pillar just kinda ends up sitting in place because when you remove the mousetrack you also remove all it's mount points.

I was surprised as well, especially since I'd spent the time/money to gather S4 plastics.
The issue with the a-pillar is not so much the plastic itself, it's the headliner.
The S5 headliner is cut higher to clear the mousetracks and the narrower S4 trim will not cover the gap.
Or at least, not very well.
I can't recall if the S4/5 mount points on the b-pillar plastic are different but the height of the "receiver" mounts on the chassis are different.
The S4 plastic sits much closer/flatter where the S5 has to clear the motor and the mount points reflect this difference.
It's much simpler- and not glaringly obvious- to just mod the S5 plastic to work with the manual belts.
It needs one hole in the upper b-pillar to fit the shoulder harness pivot bolt and a "slot" cut into the upper edge of the lower panel for the belt to slide through.
Less obvious is how to deal with the center console and the floor mounts for the belts.
Once you remove the inertia reels in the console, it's apparent how useless the console has become...the tiny cubby is absurd for all the empty space you've just created.
Also, leave the black metal belt guide thingie in place...if you remove it, carpet gaps are exposed.
With a bit of creativity the plastic trim for the floor mount pockets can be used, a much nicer way to finish than just leaving it exposed.

yes the headliner is a problem. also the thing that holds the bins is different, and the rear carpet.
the center console is pretty easy, the vert uses an S4 one, so you just need one of those

wat? ugh, maybe Im just tired today and cant properly read and use imagination, but I didn't know about any of this trouble. F it. When I put the seats in I'll go ahead and get a custom roll bar made, and bolt in some harnesses.

Yeah I already have removed the s5 seatbelts and a using harnesses, so not like I want to use s4belts, just didn't want the plastics where you can see the track still. Hmmm now I have no idea. Maybe I'll take my 10ae plastics off and do a test fit on my s5 just to see for myself
That seems simpler than a bit of plastic trimming?
I've woken up a bit since this morning, plastic trimming could work... although... what is done about the mousetrack/slider hole? do you leave the track in it? because if you take it out, it shows through to the body, correct? Theres no way to put a S4 A piller plastic, it is sounding like...
What does "With a bit of creativity the plastic trim for the floor mount pockets can be used, a much nicer way to finish than just leaving it exposed." mean?
I guess what I meant is, I plan to install race seats, and I guess I could still use my S5 belts... I could even modify for S4 belts... In the end I figured at some point I would just install harnesses.
