Exclamation s4/5 plates problem

hey there just wondering if this is posible..... i have older housings front and rear plates with a s4/5 middle plate...... the way they seal are diffrent like the the orange water seal channel wondering if it would be fine if i filled it up with some STEEL PUTTY or sumen and got to machined or sumen like that....... cause the housings have the channel for the main seal so does the plates so i figured its not a moving part and dont come in contact with any moving parts it should be fine as long its dry and flat ????.....cause i dont have the money to build a new motor reali... and its gotta go in a s4 rx-7... oh its a full race cut bridge port as well cheers hope some one out there can sugest sumen OTHER than new parts haha
