Hi guys

My fuel pressure regulator has 2 vac ports. Currently getting rid of emissions and wanted to know why my regulators has 2 ports.

My car is a turbo 2 series 5.

Looking at other posts for emissions removal and checking out the ressurection web site they all only have one vac port.

 

Here you can see the return fuel port on the fuel rail, and the regulator has 2 ports. Why 2? And should i hook them up to the same vacuum port on UIM?

 

I think one connects to the fuel return line, not a vacuum line.

 

I dont think thats the case, the fuel return is the big one on the left (fuel Rail) of the picture the other two ports are smaller and actually on the regulator.

Problem I find is all the Manuals such as Haynes and the online manual are for earlier turbo and just say later model similar. None show the 2 ports which i have.

 

Maybe I just couldn't see it then, the picture is very dark.
