S-AFC owners.....

On the "Monitor" mode what is your thrtl % reading when your not pressing on the gas. Its not supposed to be at 0% right? How do you have your tps set? Wich hole on the tps are you using (looking at it from front of car; left, middle, or right hole?

You still have to have your TPS set properly, whether you have an S-AFC or not.

Zero would make sense...

OK

Dual "plungers" as you call them are on S5 cars it's a full range TPS. The single "plunger" is on S4 cars.

Go to the main menu and hit ect. go to voltage check. Check your tps from here it should read as close to 1v as possible no % needed. And yes while idling the throttle % should be about 0, however I think the SAFC learns what the range is so if your TPS is way out of whack it might give some different numbers.

In addition how about giving the forum members more than 10 minutes at a time to answer your question.

I have an s4 and with the car off the TSP give the s-afc a reading of ~30% even though the TSP voltage is set to ~1v

Well, huh I just went out to my 91 TII and the SAFC says 1.15V and 3.3%. Now that is just sitting there not idling and cold. I have the cold start stuff removed so that should not matter. Should I readjust that TPS till it is 1V ?

set the TPS voltage to 1v then reset the SAFC using the initialize function.

Did you know....

Instead of using a volt meter to adjust your TPS setting use your SAFC. Put it on sensor check and you can see the voltage. Adjust it to 0.955. It works for me.
