S-afc memory?

S-afc memory?

does the S-afc have memory? or do all the settings get del when you disconnect the battery or unplug it?

also can someone give me the size L and W. don't see anything on there site.

hopefully I'll have mine in a couple weeks

I don't know about memory and size but it does fit in the ashtray spot, very small (suprised me). I'll be getting one too.

Good question Scott. I'm getting one from an integra guy on Friday. Hopefully, the unit won't keep all his settings stored and I can work off the baseline. I'd be interested on hearing the method of tuning you are going to use. I'm planning on O2 sensor and AFR gauge right now.

mines a series IV actually and even if it does have his settings I think there is an initialize one that resets to default

According to the instructions it retains all setting indefinitely if power is disconnected. It's memory can be erased using the initialise function.

cool that's what I was hoping for. that would be gay if it got del.

mine will be tuned by a local pro with his Motec wide band system. probably on a dyno but not really needed.

Must be nice! I'm going to have to rough tune mine, then get it 300 miles to rotary performance to get a dyno tune. The car is just running WAY to rich with the Walbro pump and stock turbo

haha ya but it'll probably cost almost as much to tune it as the S-afc costs.... but it's the *only* way to do it.

ok what is needed to turn this? can u just hook it up and go for it or do u need aftermarket gauges?
