Get an upgrade fuel pump first!&nbsp The S-AFC is not going to prevent you from blowing your engine...

The problem with running such an open exhaust is...
1) boost creep with early 1986-1988 Zenki Turbo II's due to too small a wastegate
2) not enough voltage to the fuel pump during high current demand conditions at night (i.e. headlights, A/C, stereo, etc.)

This basically means the fuel pump cannot support the fuel delivery needed.&nbsp A S-AFC is not going to do anything because 1) you're maxxing out fuel injector pulsewidths over 14psi, and 2) opening the fuel injectors more doesn't give you more fuel if the stock fuel pump is not giving you any!

Seriously, the upgrade fuel pump (and possible rewire) is a more important step than the S-AFC...

I'm running a Walbro 255lph high pressure fuel pump and it works great.

Yep, that upgrade fuel pump can easily support up to 300hp to the wheels.&nbsp Due to the fuel system design, it will also inject more fuel across the entire RPM band.&nbsp This will let you possibly LOWER the settings with your S-AFC - the PROPER way of doing things.

Hey, he's still around. If you do a 6 month back search like I did, you can find a lot of good info he posted.

The K2RD.com says Ted has moved onto other stuff, but I really think he was done in by carpal tunnel(sp?) with all the typing he used to do on this forum.
