hey guys, uh i was wondering, can a 87 rx7 turbo II run on a N/A HOOD? or is bad? i can't find a turbo II hood... at all. i looked through forums. is not the color i want. but reply thanks i appreciate it.

 

Beside the TMIC clearance the poor IC will breath... hot ans static air... wich is very bad! It's maybe even better to run no IC at all under such conditons!

 

witha front mount intercooler you can. otherwise, you'll heatsoak the intecooler and underhood temps will be not so god for the intercooler. your car will be noticibly slower due to the heat soaking. bad idea if you ask me.

 

Get a TII hood and paint it the color you want, unless your car has a custom paint job it wont be hard to find the right color, you could always get black and just paing the hood black.
