Rx7 rebuild Question

Question Rx7 rebuild Question

Whats up guys... im have my s5 t2 engine all torn apart it has about 55k on it... i opened it cuz it was smoking a **** load... i came to find out that the rear rotor oil seal was ripped... know i want to find out that i sould replace besides the oil seals and the water seal... (I need the guys that have a rebuild before )....

i would do a fresh rebuild to be safe

MANY of the metal seals and springs can be reused. There is a good chance at 55k miles, they are all in spec. Don't think anyone recommends reusing apex seals, even if they are in spec though. Obviously, replace all the rubber o-rings, coolant seals and gaskets. It shouldn't kill your bank account.

If I were on a tight budget, I would just check clearances on all your hard seals and if they are within spec you could reuse them no problem. Just make sure you put them where they were when you took them out. But definately replace all the soft seals, inside and out.

Dope thanks ... Im going to ger my seals and stuff thru pineapple racing... Has anyone had bad EXP with them and thier products??
