Rx7 Finally Fixed. Thnx For All The Help. Read

I FIXED MY CAR. I THINK HAILERS AND A COUPLE OTHER PEOPLE HELPED ALOT. THE Y/B WIRE ON THE IGNITOR PLUG WAS NOT GETTING ENERGY WITH IGNITION ON, SO I TRACED IT AND WAS NOT CONNECTED TO ANYTHING. I JIMMIED THE WIRING BIG TIME. tHIER ALSO IS NO MORE SHORT IN THE SYSTEM. I DID THIS ALL MYSELF FOR FREE. THE ONLY PROBLEM NOW IS I HEAR THIS HISSING SOUND COMING FROM THE INTAKE SOMEWERE. AND BOTH PAIRS OF WIRES ON THE ACV ARE NOT CONNECTED. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THAT WILL EFFECT. MY CAR DOES FILL A LITTER FASTER. HEHE EH

The hissing noise is your 7 cussing you out for messing with the wrong wires. :-)

Hissing, my guess is something to do with the air/smog pump. Check that the big rubber hose is hooked up between it and the Air Control Valve.

Congrats on getting your 7 back on the road.

Emissions! One electrical connector goes to the split air solenoid valve. When the solenoid energizes, more split air is sent to the cat. The other connector is to the port air solenoid valve. When this one is on, some air is sent to the exhaust ports when the air is being directed to the Cat (split air). Note, all this is after combustion.
