rx7 base timing set up

i need to know if there is a procedure on setting up the base timing and what do the red and yellow dots mean??? any help would be very helpful

Yep, there is a procedure. Its in the FSM, which is FREE. All you got to do is go to the FAQ at the top of the page and download it!

Factory Service Manual. Procedure to set the timing would in the 3rd PDF Labeled "Engine" on the 7th or 8th page I believe.
