Have you even tried test fitting the rims on your car?

Yea, I met some guy at sevenstock and he had rx-8 rims on his fc. it looked pretty good. anywayz, he said that he had to get a certain tire size so it wouldn't rub all over the place. Don't know what size it was though. But I know it will fit.

That thread seems to have some good information... I don't get why it was closed, seems to me that people were actually backing up their arguments with facts, which you don't see much of on these boards anymore.

Just to clear things up, the rim is part of the wheel. The correct term you are looking for is wheel. Ok, now you can continue this conversation that has already been covered. Of course you would have known that if you searched first.

No, it was getting to be a pissing contest, but the reason it was closed is covered in the last post in it.

Chimera was the worst offender there (but there were a couple of others) and was not backing up anything with fact, but rather comparing apples to oranges as he saw fit and twisting his FATF undestanding of tires and suspension instead of sticking to facts.

Either way the subject of the thread was covered, and it is too bad that the originator of this thread was not able to search and discover it before posting this thread here.

Those do look pretty f-in' slick.

I thought someone over on the 3 club would want 'em fo sho. Sorry if I steered you wrong.

Good luck selling them. It seems, from searching, that they go for 350-500 bucks, so you seem to be asking kind of a lot, but like you mentioned, these rims are NEW, as in never even mounted, right?

They look pretty lame to me in that picture... the offset is all wrong. The wheel is way to far in...

I guess that is what happens when you mount the wrong wheel with the wrong offset on the car.

I guess that makes you stupid like Michael Moore then?

The car looks like an oversized Hot Wheels toy.

I could never take a car that looks like that seriously.

You're Conservative/Republican?

I guess all I can do is extend a begrudging, yet whole-hearted----->

On topic: The Rx8 wheels are too big and obtrusive. Also, they're obviously 'modern', wheras the Rx7 embodies a dated (although classic) style of vehicle... What I'm trying to say is, the wheels don't fit the car, lol.

But on the other hand they're cool because they 'keep it in the family' in a good way.

My brother is also running rx8 rims on his TII. He is using a 30mm hub-centric spacer which fits nicely under a 30mm wide body kit. He also has it lowered 3/4" with HKS springs... Tire size is 225-45-18

I have been on his *** to post pics...
