Rusty gas tank

My car has been sitting for exactly 10 years until last month when I finally installed my rebuilt engine. Naturally there were plenty of parts I had to change...fuel pump number one as this is what it looked like :

What are my options? Buy a new tank or use one of those fuel tank restoration kits like Por-15 or KBS-Coatings? The coatings would be far cheaper, which one is supposed to be better of the two?

Woah!
I would just drop the tank and Opt for a new one.
No sense in wasting your time workin hard to scrub out a tank that may just "give out" inside when you go to clean it.Getting a new one would save both time and give ya piece of mind.
I have a TII sender and pump sittin here if interested.(cheap!).

I already have an FD pump in there that works fine, but thanks! What's wrong with these cleaning products since it would seem to be a heck of a lot cheaper that buying a new tank, whatever that would cost?

Where the heck can I find a new gas tank besides the dealer? I have been looking on the internet and I can't find anywhere that sells them! I don't want a used tank either, I already have a used one on the car.

You probably won't find a new one. Post an ad in the for sale section...yours is beyond used.

The problem could very well be that the rust is the only thing holding it together. You could certainly try one of them out, but depending on the condition of your tank you still may have to source a replacement.

You're going to want to have that professionally cleaned at a tank repair shop. They'll also tell you if you are wasting you time with it.

In addition to cleaning, they will coat the inside to prevent future problems.

I hope you've flushed/replaced the entire fuel system. And your injectors will need to be professionally serviced.
