My 88 GTU runs great, but one day it stopped having the ability to idle.... it just dies. Any good ideas out there... I'd really appreciate the help! Yotraj

 

TPS may need to be adjusted, also check all vaccum lines.

 

cheack the throttle cable thats what mine was it sounds so lame but it was effective

 

First thing I would do, oh , thats right, I did, is go to search , type in idle, and spend the next 72 hours reading the 12,000 things associated with it. Sounds like a lot of reading, but this site isn't here because these folks are idiots. Trust me, read, and you will be amazed at how simple an idle is to fix, for a short time.
