runs good under load

ok well my car will run good under load but at crusing it pops and kinda bucks but not bad at all. Info on the car is tii rebuilt motor with only like 50 miles on it. Streetported, fcd, biger injectors, and it is a n/a to tii swap. I checked it with a vacume guage and it was reading 12 in hg and under acc it hits and decell it hits 21 in hg and then goes up to around 12 in. Is that a vacume leak or what. Any advice because i have to go on an 1100 mile trip in like 2 weeks. Need to get some miles on it and running correct.

Do you have an O2 sensor installed?
If you do, try and disconnect it - does this change this hesitation?

i have a 88 N/A running roughly round 200hp and i pop and shoot flames as well but only after im heated up though like running at operating temperature or if i push it and let off it will occassionally....i run mostly ideal and if i run it for a while and push it ill run rich and it pops...i dont really worry bout it though....my timing is advanced u might consider some of this....
