running very lean

i started up my car today and normally when my 02 sensor gets warmed up then it will read a little rich, but today it read rich for like 3 seconds and then went so lean that it wont even register on my gauge. it get normal reading while driving but at idle it just goes back to lean. and the o2 sensor is only like 2 weeks old. anyone know what might be happening?

it works when the actual sensor gets warm, but even then after driving the car for 30 min it was still reading lean

Due to the extreme exhaust heat produced by the rotary, I guess it's possible that you could have killed the sensor. Where did you buy it from?

Nope. IF your car is with the airpump and the ACV, then it's as normal as can be for the 02 sensor to read .000 at idle.

In fact if it does not read .000vdc, then your car is busted as far as I'm concerned.

The air from the airpump goes thru the ACV to the Exaust Ports. The exaust ports are located where? Prior to the 02 sensor is the answer. So what you have is pure air mixing with the exaust fumes prior to the sensor, therefore it WILL read .000vdc from the stock 02 sensor.

Next time you see .000 vdc or LEAN on a gauge, then go to the BLUE plug on the Relief solenoid and pull it off the solenoid. Now the 02 reading will be on the rich side, because no air is now going to the exaust ports (if everything is working right).
