running turbo car with turbo removed?
ok, this question was raised to me a few days ago:
could you remove the turbo, connect the ends of the oil and coolant lines, get a new exhaust manifold, and get new intake pipes to connect?
i cant think of any reason why the car wouldnt run this way. is there one?
i know it wouldnt have as much power as an NA due to the reduced compression ratio, and power production isnt even really an issue, it is purely for curiosity.
would the car run ok like that? im thinking it should be just the same as staying off the boost except that you would be able to floor the accellerator.
