I have run from the cops about 15 or 20 times. I know you all will think im bsing but Its one of my favorite things.
My driving record is about 3 pages on a dot matrix. I know cause I just got picked u in for speed and due to a MFin DMV error got taken back to the stations. Of the 17 times lets saw only got busted once and even then the cop LIED on me in court to make sure it stuck. There fore I hate most cops for every 100 the is 1 maybe 2 honest ones. Thats also one of the reason I developed this screw with the cops thing. Oh I must also mention 2 or 3 time were on my 600GXR so no contest there.

I would tell you so great stories about running from the cops but most of you wouldnt believe it. So here are some tips.

1) Time. It is against you from the first second you see the cop. So many things factor into time. I have a rule of thumb of 3 seconds. If i see a cop and there is a possiblity that he clocked me and is going to pursue then I count to 3 and decide run or stop. From that moment there is no half *** running or you will end up in jail or without a DL. Time also come into play the instant you decide to run. I try to be out of the cops view in 2 - 6 seconds. Be it changing lanes alot or turing off the road your on. The mor ehe sees you the more info he has. And the radio. On average it takes a cop about 14-20 seconds to tell the dispatch the he is in persuit and of what he is chasing. If you do you timing right it will come out like" I chasin a black no blue no w8 well its a sports car hang on a sec" At wich point you are out of site.
2) the second thing has been mentioned but is worth mentioning again and thats pulling off/ hiding. As soon as your outta site start looking for a place to hide. AS soon as you find one pull off get outta the car and get outta site of the car (ie: behind a tree)
Here is an example that has worked for me twic.
I meet cop on the road going opp direction. I take off. Out of site in 10 - 12 seconds. Drive for like 30-60 seconds then pull of in a body shop parking lot. Get out ang go behind building. w8d about 4 min the start walking back to car real sloooooooo. Cop pulls in and start to give me the third degree. Why was I going so fast why did I run. I say" What I was pulling off to take a pee sorry I dont know what you talking about" DONT SAY ANY MORE THAN THAT. The worst that can happen is he tows your car "o threatens to" and the you get it back when they realize he has no evidece (ie he didnt see you get out of car how can he prove you were driving)
3) and last for now is DONT SPEED with ppl in the car unless you explain all this to them ahead of time. ppl are weak and cops will make most ppl confess. SO if someone is like lets race tell em about groundzeros 20 and 2 rule. If we are going fatser that 20 mph over the limit we are gonna run and or if I have had more that 2 beers we are gonna run.

Anyone that ould like more information or would like to know how to do thing to your car that will help get away let me know PM me.

Groundz3ro;

You are an immature idiot. Outrunning the cops is dangerous, puts innocent lives in danger, and is completely and utterly stupid. Putting others in jeopardy so you can avoid a citation makes me want to choke the **** out of you.

When a cop tries to stop you and you run, for all he knows you just robbed a bank or murdered someone.

This ain't no game boy. With your driving record I think you should be relegated to a bicycle. Better yet stay at home.

Don't come to my part of Arkansas and try this crap. If my Police Interceptor equipped Ford Crown Vic can't out run you, my Morotola radio will.

Yea I expected that .....
I really shouldn't bother with a reply but ... hey im bored.
If i run from the cops and the cops chase me then the cops are putting the same ppl are risk .... correct. OR are you going to proceed to tell me that you a better driver than me. Needless to say my car handles better and thus would give me a slight advantage over you. Besides that lets take a look at your quotes for a minute:

You are an immature idiot
If so why are you the one name calling....

makes me want to choke the **** out of you
Police are such nice people thats why I love em

This ain't no game boy
Well it isn't a game I agree but its cops like you that I rather not talk to so why bother if you don have to.

You are that kid that picked on in school arent you. Prolly by some redneck bully POS. So you get a bluesuit and a badge and now your the man huh. I think not. First off the fact that you say you wanna choke the **** outta me is funny. You dont know me... And unless you have that bluesuit, gun, badge , and a few friends I really really dont think you would be choking me. As far as immature. Well maybe but isnt everyone a little I mean hey we are in here 90% of the time talking about rice and how to beat it and how our cars kick ***. I mean that seems ok to me.
I dont know what else to tell ya but being a cop I guess you know it all so more power to you. Maybe if I am ever through you area we will run into each other or rather I run away from you.
Have a nice day........

You are blaming the cops for chasing you? How dare you.

You only outrun them when you are legally intoxicated and/or speeding? Drivers like you make me cringe.

I have pulled a few bodies out of wrecks caused by drunks. I wish you could see what I have seen.

I still think you should not be allowed to drive.

And yes, after 28 years of police work and much more maturity I am for damn sure a better driver than you are. I would imagine anyone on this planet is a better driver than you when you are drunk, which I take is fairly often.

you are way out of line. someday you will learn your lesson when you hit someone elses car, kill a mom or dad of a family and get put in jail for the rest of your life. just cause you wanted to avoid a ticket, it makes me sick to my stomach that you think it's cool to do this.

You need to work on your driving if you only beat a 4500lbs tank by 4 sec on race tires, no offense, but face it. It's true

I didn't want to get into this, but I am a high school student, and since most of us just recently started driving, we talk about it a lot. But I have never heard someone as immature as to compare there driving skills to another. I do not see how you can be more mature than groundzero by telling him you are better than him. That shows your maturity right there, maybe if you have intelligent arguments instead of threatening to "choke the ****" out of people you will get more respect, by threatening people and telling them you are better than they are you sure don't deserve it.

Unfortunately, I, too, must agree with the "immature children" on this one. Although I've nothing against cops as individuals, I've most everything against the profession itself. Why? Mostly because it has been repeatedly corrupted by the individuals that accept its positions. Why? Because there should be higher standards set that restrict available positions, requiring better background checks, etc. therefore ensuring higher quality personell. Cops are just regular people going to work everday just like we do. The difference is that it is much more important for them to be able to control their anger and their emotions, or we end up with those things we offen refer to as "power trips." For this reason, anger management courses, etc. should be implemented. Anyway, this is besides the point. The solution is far from reality. . . and probably will always be because of money.

Anyway, to GroundZero-
You sound like an intelligent kid. Obviously immature as all children are at a time in their live and as they should all righteously be. But sersiously, the facts have been stated to you: it IS dangerous, it IS immature, and it IS stupid. I'm not in any way speaking badly about you as a person, but these ideas that you think are fun (and yes, they may in fact be fun), are, in fact, dangerous. Please, be careful. I know that if you were to hit and injure or kill someone that I loved and cared for, I'd be very upset, and would be at a loss of words for you and your ignorance. I'm sure that this is the same way the cop feels. Although he was not right for blowing up at you like a child himself, you have to understand that what you are saying will emotionally affect any sane person that is in love with anything about life. I'm obviously not your parent, but if you are going to do things like that then please just be careful where you talk about it, because there is a good chance those that hear it will be offended. You are obviously going to make your own decisions. . . I hope it's the right one-your kids will thank you for it.

To the cop-
My initial judgement of you, although obviously premature as I know nothing about you, leads me to believe that you, yourself aren't much different than the child you are mocking. I bet if you sit back and think right now, you could remember a time and situation when you acted quite similarly and ignorantly yourself. I don't know if you remember or not, but you thought you were 100% right. . .but guess what? You weren't. Anyway, just remember, you were a kid once too. This kid has done nothing but adapt to this society that he's grown up in. He'll soon be no different than you- a father trying to make a living and protect his kids. I hope you'll try to control your temper and take it easy on those damned ignortant kids. After all, we are all kids at heart aren't we?

P.S. Please reconsider your views about marijuana if they are currently against it. This "drug" is what has given me all the hope and passion for life and for happiness that I have. I have never hurt you. Maybe I've helped you. Just remember it could just as easily be you. . . In jail for loving life.

"Smoking herb reveals you to yourself." -Bob Marley

NO WAY

I'm a cop in Baltimore, md and I will tell you that you will not outrun is in a second generation. You have got to remember that the crown vic is a 4.6 litre screaming police machine. Flat out on a highway, hang it up. Maybe in the city, if you know it better then me, and you make a bunch of turns, but like someone elses said, i have a radio, and when i call out your direction, your gonna get boxed in. Now a 3rd generation, I would think you would be ghost.

First let me say that copandengr didn't threaten to choke anyone, only said that he'd like to. And I don't blame him. You know why? Because I used to be like you. I used to think that 3 or 4 or 10 beers couldn't affect my driving that much, could it? Besides, I felt fine! So did the limp-dick ********** who took my cousin's life. With a beer in hand (his self-professed 5th that night) he didn't even slow down as he ran her 11 year old body over that evening. The only reason they caught him is because an officer getting a coffee at a 7-11 about 35 miles away heard it relayed to his dept. on the radio, and saw this guys car with blood all over the grill, hood, and fender. Well, I hope you smarten up, as _MOST_ of us have, because I don't think it should take another human life just to teach you that maybe you're not as good a drunk driver (or driver at all) as you think you are.
And you will only become a man when you can stand up like one, and take responsibility for your actions. Don't like getting pulled over? Don't speed. I like to drive fast, but I limit it to old abandoned highways and indusrial parks. And when I see an officer throw on his cherries, I pull over. 75% of the time I go out, I am the des. driver. I only hope you grow up, at least enough to realize how moronic you are, before your ignorance hurts someone else or yourself...

I've only been pulled over twice and if a cop put his lights on behind me, I would pull over again. For one thing, I could outrun a cop, but if I get caught I WOULD BE SCREWED. Now, being 21 I still have plenty of rebellion in my system but I'm not blatant nor stupid about it. I've been to 130 or so on the high-way in my TII, however it was during the day on a section of highway that was straight and very few cars around. I know that wasn't exactly a 'smart-thing' but the only risk was the risk to myself. See, I'm kinda paranoid about tickets as I don't much cash to spend for the ticket and the insurance premium either so I leave my speeding to the driving schools or on the aforementioned sparsely populated highway.

As for drinking and driving...it's by far one of the dumbest things a person can do. I've had two friends who've been arrested for D&D and it ain't worth it. I'll have a beer or two if I have to drive, but I refuse to get behind the wheel blotto'd.

i kinda ran from the police last night in a shut down airport on the runways. but i was scared as **** cause we were driving with our lights off so the cops couldn't find us since we were out in the middle of nowhere. me and one of my friends got stopped, 2 of my friends got away, and one of my friends hit a ****** concrete thing in the middle of the airport parking lot or something. he swerved just in time to keep the damage as minimal as it could have been. but still fucked up the driverside pretty bad. he has a 2000 impreza 2.5RS. none of us got tickets though, luckily. the cops just said that in light of the recent events, they were just being precaucious of anything suspicous going on at airports.

I, too, agree that driving while drunk or even "buzzing" is totally stupid and immature. Anyone who thinks they are cool for intoxicating and poisoning their body and then bragging about it by hopping in a vehicle and thinking they can drive as good as if they weren't drinking has a LOT of maturation to undergo. Please be safe guys. For everyone's sake.

One time...

I was out testing my dad's 79 911SC (the 450hp one) on one of my favorite roads. I'd been pulled over there before, but I had just gotten new rubber and coilovers on the car, so I chanced it. The road in question is a very twisty one with lots of elevation changes and blind corners, but it's usually abandoned (there are easier ways to get between the two roads it connects) and I took it. Ran right past a county cruiser. I slowed down as he pulled out, but then I got to the twisties and let loose. Those cop cars have decent engines and really pretty good suspension (for such big cars), but he was no match for the 911. I'm sure he radioed for backup, but he never had the chance to look at my plates, and I took a really boonie-fied (I word of my own creation) route home. Man, was my heart beating fast.

EXACTLY. If even half of the people that look down upon me for smoking marijuana were even half as intelligent as me (by society's standards), then I may agree with you that it does, in some way, impair intelligence and/or brain function. I got a 3.7GPA in a VERY difficult high school, and now hold a 3.0GPA at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. So, illegal or not, marijuana is not bad for me. I get along just fine, and am perfectly happy with what I do. And. . . so you all know, the only law I eveer break (besides speeding occasionally) is smoking marijuana. So, am I really a criminal? I donate regularly to charities such as United Way, American Red Cross, etc. I donate my time to help children with Junior Achievement programs. I have many friends. I get along great with my family (coincidentally after I began smoking marijuana?) I keep my car clean. I pray every night just as you may or may not do. I love my little dog Buddy. Everytime that I get high at my house I go straight upstairs to find Buddy so I can pet him and love him up. I'm seriously a good guy. And seriously, no different than any of you. Except that I have NEVER even tried a cigarette (and never will). And that I NEVER drink alcohol except maybe once or twice every year. Seriously, am I hurting anyone by smoking marijuana in the comfort of my own home. Most importantly, am I a criminal? Do I belong in jail. I urge you all to reconsider if you look down upon me for enjoying life to the fullest extent.

PEACE,
Derek

Eh...

Some of the smartest guys I know smoke the ganja. I see it as one of those "whatever works" sorta things. I didn't need it to get through HS, but it has some miraculous quality for many people. More power to ya, man, just be careful.

Thanks. I appreciate your open-mindedness even though you may not totally agree. I think you see the most important thing: If I'm hurting anyone, then it is only myself.
