running on one rotor- some of the time?
running on one rotor- some of the time?
My rear rotor cuts in and out of running - commpression is fine, electrical is fine, injectors are fine- just some times when it is warm it looses most of its power, so I wanted to see what was up- I unhooked the spark plugs from the front rotor and it died - unhooked from the back and it kept running ? then I tried it again when it seemed fine and unplugged from the front - didn;t die ? any Ideas

well there are some things you should consider befor you do.
the stocker cools alot better than electric units.
electric units have more that can go wrong.
there are only a few horses to set free.
ive seen some good adaptions and alot of people have made the switch. no pun intended.
one of the best solutions ive seen is cutting down the stock shroud so that the circular duct is on the same angle as the radiator. at that point you can get a fan that the blades are half an inch smaller in diameter than the duct on the shroud. too much air gap would defeat the cooling effectivness.
you can get good, name-brand cooling fans from pep-boys. they range from 100 to 200 bux depending on size and air moving capability.
good luck!

P.S. do a little searchin. there have been hundreds of threads on this subject im sure, you may even find some pics for visual aid..
