I've got a 87 t2 and im running straight from the down pipe atm, and all of a sudden it got ALOT louder. i was on my way home when it happend and then it started back firing so i pull into a gas station to c whats up and nothings wrong under the hood. i then take the fastest rout to my house and it cant sustain idle...

anyone know what can be wrong, i havent changed my spark plugs in a while thats what some friends think.

While we're waiting, why don't you jack up the car and take a peek at the exhaust.
Maybe a spark plug punched a hole in it.

 

i figured it out the hose running from my bov to my innercooler wasn't in all the way... ya they dont know wtf they're talking about they think i have a 2 piston motor
