JDM turn signal help

I just recently bought some JDM turn signals for my vert.as i was going to hook them up i noticed our connectors are a little different than the ones that came with the JDM one.the connector on the JDM signals look like a T shape connector and our is like a plug.so now i spliced the JDM turn signal wires to the plug on my harness and now they dont blink.so heres where i ask if the JDM ones are suppose to signal or are they just suppose to stay lit. if they are suppose to signal, how are they suppose to be wired? has anyone came across this problem? Thanks for any input and the help in advanced.

None of the JDM ones stay lit as you have them in the US, they are all flashers, the only ones to the exception are the red ones on the rear quarters which even on the JDM versions are quite rare to find.

If these are the ones that drop into the front sides of the wings/fenders then I dont know if the US wiring was different because most of the US spec cars came with orange lights that stayed on. Either way they should work if they get spliced into the units housed in your front bumper. I would forget your connector for now.

they are turn signals only as the jdm cars have FTP's to use as parking lights instead of the turn signals that the usdm cars use. thats why there is only 2 wires on the back of them instead of 3. you will have to cut the connector off and hard wire them into your front harness.
