running new power wires from the bin.

Ok,the more I look at it,I can eliminate some wiring.
The battery used to be in the Front, and now I got it in the passenger side bin.Just to be quick I ran some cable from the battery under the car and to the stock battery old location, hooked it up and Voila!...Working again.
Now,I look at the job I did and go WTF?(3 years later),and figure I should "do it right".
So I got 15 feet of battery cable and 10 feet of 6 gauge to run around to the prospective spots.
..Question: can I just run from Battery to starter,T it off and go to the Engine bay fuse block, and across to the alternator and Call it a day?
Suggsetions?.
THANKS, Styx!~

When I relocated my battery (same place as yours), I ran the cable to an insulated stud on the framerail, put an eye on the stock positive cable (replacing the battery terminal clamp) and connected the two.
Didn't change the original wiring at all.

Great minds think alike.
I did that.
But the thing is now I have Crap on the car that I don't use,as I went Haltech.
So No Cas,or Power steering etc.Besides the casings on the old wiring are junky looking.Peeling tape, cracked casing..Yuk.
I'm not a Neat freak,or an "**** kind of guy",I just want it to be less cluttered...and besides,I can't take back the wiring now,it is Cut wire. They don't refund that!.(haha!).So I am committed..Really,get me outta here..
