Running fuel lines?
I have to run my fuel lines now: from the fuel filter to the PD in the primary fuel rail, from the primary fuel rail to the secondary, from the secondary to the adjustable FPR and from there to the fuel return. This brought up a few questions.
1) Is it okay to run the fuel lines to the primary fuel rail on top of the engine? I had to remove the entire rat's nest, so it's just running over the bare block. Should I buy some of that black plastic heat covering just to be safe?
2) The fuel return line is the one nearest to the fuel filter, right? It's slightly smaller than the line going into the fuel filter, but it's larger than the two that are on either side.

I would safely say that it's better to be safe than sorry. So just spend $5 on some heat covering and not worry about that part. As for #2... I don't have a turbo so I can't comment on that.
