Runnig an S5 TII engine in an S5 N/A with N/A Ecu & SAFC

Ok im doing research on my TII swap and so far things look pretty straight forward. I have one question that didn't seem to be asked by any one. I have heard of people starting and letting there TII swap idle on the stock S5 N/A ecu. Now is there anyway to use the n/a ecu and a SAFC to control the TII engine. N370 ecus go for about $200 and that is about the same as a safc.

You need to look better, S5 TII ecu's can be had for about $75

really wow. I see them going for at least $150 even on ebay. Anyways. Could it be possible to run an S5 TII with the N/A ECU and SAFC?

The car will start and drive, yes. It will not work right though. The n/a ECU does not recognize BOOST and or 550 injectors that are in there in place of the 460's. By that I mean it does not know if you have 460's or 550's or 720's or 1000's. Wrong mixture all the way around.

And when you get the trubo ECU you'll NEED a trubo boost sensor to go with it. See the outputs of the n/a vs the turbo pressure sensor in your fsm and you'll see what I mean.

There's timing issues using a non turbo ECU with a tubo, also.

its not worth it due to the timing issue, I'll send you everything you need for $300. ecu, harness, all sensors, maf, fuel pump, etc.

Damn that's a good a$$ deal, I wish I had that option. Just the harness alone from that factory is $1000. I'm doing the same thing just with the 4 series instead. I fortunatly didn't have trouble with it running. It has a nice idle, but it has a boost lag right at 0 pressure.
