haven't heard of any dates as to when it is comming out but I heard henrik has been testing it for a while now and is supposedly on the last part of testing and then it's onto production. Here is a post from him a couple of days ago on teamfc3s.org.
"The logs were done with a 2.0 prototype which I've been
running and tweaking for the last couple of months. I just
ordered what should be the production boards and once
those are tested, its then on to final test, so yep its been
a long time but its close.
The VE table was just an interesting thing to do, it measures
how efficiently the engine "breathes". Its the ratio of actual
airflow to theoretical airflow. 100% would mean that the
engine injests the equivalent of 1.3 litres of air at the current
MAP reading per rev.

i have a 1.5 and i love the built in fuel cut defenser, i hate cluttering up my engine bay with fairly useless devices...
the Rtek is mainly for protection but it does lower the secondady staging to 3500 RPMs so it does give you a longer power band at the sacrafice of fuel mileage.
my opinion: it is well worth the $95-125 for it.

Version 2.0 will allow the user to select between 550/550, 550/720, as well as 720/720 primary/secondary injectors.
We will also be releasing an Rtek7 v 1.8 chip. Version 1.8 is exactly like version 1.7, but made for users that have 720 injectors for both primaries and secondaries.
im sooo glad the S4 guys can have something this good..

Did anyone ever come to a conclusion about whether the 1.7 would be safe to run for people using the old GSL-SE (I think?) injectors as secondaries? If I remember correctly they were tested at about 680, but in the thread about it nobody seemed to have an answer as to whether they would be OK to run with the 1.7.
There is not that big a difference in flow but from what little I understand about it there may be differences in duty cycle too. Is this true? I have to admit to being pretty clueless about it myself.
