Rtek and TPS noticed something odd...anyone else?

hey so i just adjusted my TPS with it sitting at around 1kOhm with it closed and 4k at WOT...SO....my question is should the Rtek read 25% throttle at idle? before i adjusted it it read 11% and the ohms were at like .5 or something really kinda close to 0 the damn screw was almost all the way out....anyone got any answers to that one? the car is warm and is idling LOW....and is jsut about dead?!?! let me adjust it and come back

S4 tps maybe? Short range tps instead of full range as in S5.

yea i have an S4 what percentage should the S4 be at idle? also one of my OMP lines broke as my buddy was tilting the engine slightly...to help me align the tranny so im premixing....the broken line is also causing a vac leak isnt it? AND pour yummy oils all over the place too huh....im going to get teflon lines this week to replace those fool *** plastic lines....i dont mind premixing acually...so i dunno what i wanna do...well in input on any of these issues would be fabulous!

Have you tried the RTEK forum? someone might be able to answer that.

A properly set series four tps will read one (1vdc) when set right. There is a possible range of up to five volts max at wide open throttle.

One volt is twenty percent of the possible five. My RTEK 2.0m reads 20 percent at idle with a fully hot engine. In other words its normal.

The ignitor in the coil assy gets its ground thru the coil assy chassis mating to the fender. If you set a coil assy on a bunch of rags on the fender, the sucker won't spark a'tall.

Even one of the four bolts of the coil assy being bolted down to the car chassis will do the trick. All four are better.

sanding the surface contact areas and using some dielectric grease helps out too, kinda extreme but it helps.
