Question RS-R Race Springs for FC3S?

Does anyone have these springs in their cars? Or any experience with them? I was thinking about RB springs but their spring rates look too soft. So I was considering this instead. If anyone has experience with these and would compare them to RB or any other brands, speak up! Thanks in advance.

Only issue with RS-R springs is which series you decide to use. kg/mm and Race springs are going to put a lot of stress on a set of shocks, even AGXs. I have tried several times to contact KYB looking for information on up to what spring rates will be safe to use on AGXs (or the like). I read about a guy with a Civic actually blowing shocks using spring that were too hard.

i didn't think you could blow shocks with stiff springs. only springs too soft for the shocks. sounds fishy to me. with stiff springs, the shock hardly moves. so how can you blow a shock with stiff springs??

If you push/pull the shock too quickly, (stiff spring is going to bounce harder and faster) it can damage the hydraulic's within the strut.

I have AGXs... so should I not use the Race springs? How is the RS-R Down springs compared to RB springs then?

I'm using tokico blues with intrax springs and I think it's a little soft. But before i swap setups i'm going to put racing beat sways front and rear, as well as their strut bar (crappy e-bay deal on there now). I also plan on getting an energy suspension bushings set and installing that and the Dtss eliminators. Then I plan to move on towards body stiffening using ITW Foam seal and a roll bar. All these things are going to directly effect how your car feels so just take this stuff into account when your contemplating your suspension setup. Camber kits, coilovers and such come later once I learn to control the car as is on the track.
