rpm gauge help + blow off valve

With all the flooding problems I've had lately, the last time I cranked the car with the egi fuse out, my rpm gauge stopped working, how do i get it working again?

Also, what is a nice and LOAD blow off valve i can get for my 88 tII without hurting my wallet too extremely bad?

and the mods begin..............

its an odd problem that I've seen happen on 3 different s4s. Remove all the fuses and put them in with their numbers all facing the fender. It shouldn't matter, but I thought it couldn't be the problem so I put them in the other way, the tach doesn't work 100% of the time. With them facing you when you put them in, the tach should work fine. Really weird.

i always have the number so i read it but it doesnt fix it, it will fix it only when i keep takin fuse out, give it gas and crank, and puttin back in and start it up, about the 5th time the guage will come on...

omg! I can't belive that there is not a simple solution to an obviously common problem like that. There has got to be an easy fix for that mother fu****, I'm just pissed considering the tach, speedo, and gas gauge were the only gauges working in my s4, and now all i have is the speedo and gas gauge.

i'm just so mad that the car has spent more time in a shop than at home. Sorry if i sound like and ***....I had the car at home for 4 days and the car has been in the shop for 10 days tomorrow, when it will be ready!

Oh well, i'm going to reward myself with a bov as soon as i get all the little problems fixed.
