rounding off body
i just got to thinking. what would it look like on a like a 91 FC with a rounded off body. not like flared fenders or anything just rounding off the line that goes down the side of the car.

Keep the lines the FC is supposed to have lines it makes the car.FDs are more rounded so if you want to make your FC look like an FD round everything off.Are you planning on doing this?

I've always wondered that myself. Or maybe create some blisters over the fenders that contour the wheel opening. It's the dead straight line along the whole car that wreaks of the 80's.

7's with shaved beltlines look awesome. Much better than with it there. Doesn't look liek a modification either, which is the best part, it just dramatically impoves the look of the car, makes it much rounder and modern.
Lots of body work involved though
Do a search- you MAY be able to find some pics... not sure though

I have talked to several people, about the lines on my FC, and all of them have said that that makes the car, and personally I think it does. I really think without it the car would look to plain, the lines really make the FC what it is.

I like the body crease, it gives the car a meaner, wider look.

I never expected Mazda to see the future and design something that was ahead of it's time. I've got an S5 myself and love it so don't get me wrong, I was just saying that that line is the biggest 80's giveaway.

true, it looks 80's...but it's the nicest looking coupe of the era, in addition to the hatchback 240SX...anyone think of something else in the era that looks this nice? these are very very pretty cars
