i have an 87 gxl and it has the bar style tailights. i think they are ugly but i do like theround tailights i see on 89-91 7s i guess. my question is will these bolt into the same spot as my older taillights

Yep. You need the taillights and the license plate frame part. They'll bolt in, but you may need to trim a little metal to get them to fit.

Expect to pay about $250-$300 a set.

 

You should be able to find the lights for about $200 and they match up with little work. Definitely worth the trouble.

 

Some cars already have the cutout to clear the backup light bulb. My GXL didn't, but my friend's 87 TII did. I need a set for my TII now

 

i remember reading somewhere that the 10 AE has the black part painted around the taillights white. They say that it is supposed to look pretty good, but I have never seen one. Does anyone have pictures of it? Or am I just talking out my *** again?

 

 

those look pretty good, but do they not have the vertical bars in the middle of the tailights like the other 86-88 or are they black and I cant see them? Thanks

i think when the series 4 taillight covers are painted body color they look FANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNTASTIC.
