Rough Idle

Ok guys...88 S/4 with automatic transmission...rough idle when in neutral or park...but put her in gear and she smoothes out....any ideas ?

could be several things. First, have you done a tuneup..plugs, wires, etc?
After that, you cantry adjusting the idle/rich screw on the passenger side front wheel well under the hood.

Harley, you're not in Phoenix anymore, change that, lol...

What did you do to the car to fix the gas smell? You play with the TPS or anything?

DUDE...there you are....no, but I think what I did was broke a vacuum line....did it without ordering some new ones and the spider....I think if I did that it would smooth out....all I did on the leak was check the lines and replace the O rings in the primary injectors...the rear one had fuel coming down the side of the injector from the top.....
