Cool Rotor shaped alt pully for FC !!

I was flipping throw a RX-7 Magazine today. and saw this cool rotor shaped alt pully.
so I had to hurry up and squezze out the south bound butt nugget so I could get back to the net to check it out.

here is the pic. in the ad in the magazine they had blue red and gold ones. but on the web site I only found gold ones.

That's pretty cool, especially since it's a dual pulley.

Definately neat looking but not near worth the $280 price tag.

There are people starving all over the world; and we are spending $280 on a stupid alternator pulley with a rotor on it.

So where can I get it?

Of course it wouldn't be made out of gold. It's just for looks my man. Now just imagine having to clean that thing to go & sell in the pawn shop because the alt doesn't work anymore.

Ahh....Once again, proof that sarcasm does not translate well over the internet.

I meant that for the price, it must be made of REAL gold.

You don't really want underdrive on the alt. These cars are known enough for electrical problems without underdriving the alternator. I looked long and hard for my "normal" sized dual pulley. The underdrive ones don't do anything on a street car. It's an alternator.... how much drag do you really think there is... not very much. These are a steel of a deal, and normal sized is just perfect!

I think the "underdrive" pullies actually spin it faster, cause they are smaller. Smaller size means greater rotations per belt revolution. If you think about how a bike works the highest gears are the smallest ones. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong cause I've been thinking about this for a while. Feel free to use math.
