rotor housings?

rotor housings?
if i am rebulding the motor in a 88n\a does it matter witch housing i use for the front and rear?? i was wondering b/c i am painting them and the rear one came out better so i wanted to use it in the front. so would it work?

On a series four car...........yes it makes a difference. It's related to the path of the air from the acv.........thru the ends of the intake manifold.....down to the front and rear side housings..........to the rotor housings and the diffuser area in the exaust ports.
If you swap them, then the air from the ACV will not exit to the exaust ports and make emissions testing , well, a little harder to pass.
