Rotor Compression

So, S5's have pretty high compression, but the other day I was thinking, I have seen piston cars with 10.5 and higher compression. I was wondering what is keeping the rotor from achieving such high compression? If there are any rotors that produce 10+ or even 11+ compression ,where can they be bought?

Thanks.

There is a physical limitation on rotary that the bathtub combustion area becomes too small, and combustion unstable at such high compression ratios. Highest so far is rx8 at 10:1.

Not to jack your thread but I was wondering the same thing. Also will Rx8 rotors work well with a large streetport?
