88 S4 N/A 5 Speed Clutch Pedal Sticking Down...

I have replaced the Clutch Master Cylinder and Slave. After driving for a little way the clutch pedal will utlimately stick at the bottom and have to be tapped or pulled by my foot to bring it up...THEN....I adjust the plunger that runs from the pedal arm through the firewall into the Master and it works fine...for a little while ....THEN she starts sticking again...any Ideas .... Oh yeah....new clutch about two years ago with only 3,000 miles on it....

are you sure you blead the system properly? a few bubbles of air will do the same thing.

also check the spring and linkage on the pedal, maybe a shot of greas will help.....

other than that im not sure what else could cause that, maybe a bad pressure plate diaphram spring.

good luck.

1. Needs bleeding.

2. Bought junk parts.

3. Either number one or number two or both.
