ROLLED MY RX-7!!! I have problems!!!

Well let me start off by saying both me and my passenger are completely unharmed, not even a scratch. I rolled my fc the other night going 75mph and we are ok. To my hardcore surprise my car is also ok. No windows broken, just a few light bumps on the passenger door and fender and sun roof is now shut for good. We flipped the car over and it started right up just fine, I drove it home everything was ok. UNTIL....

After the accident I didn't drive my car but I would turn it on every couple of days to charge battery and such, it would start up fine and normal. Today after I cleaned up the crap out of it and tried to start it up I wouldn't start. It would try to start up and everything seemed ok but I don't know what is wrong. The engine has a healthy 93k miles, well maintained and it never even gave me one problem. PLEASE HELP I don't know what happened and I need help. Could the accident have done something to my motor? It did start right after, I even drove it home for ***** sake. What is going on???? its only been about 2 weeks since the accident.

I would really appreciate help, thank you, oh and I already looked it up to no avail.

This thread fails without pics. Sorry, but the lounge is screwing me up.

Sounds like you may have flooded it by moving it a bit to clean her up. Try unflooding.

probably flooded if you didn't let it warm up fully, aside from that we really need a little more help than "it won't start".

alright, car cranks and sounds like its right about to start, but nothing happens, car just keeps on cranking and its smells like gas...

Heres a picture of the cars damage, as highlighted the cars damage is on the passenger door and fender. A small crack on front window and bump on sun roof, and I lost my passenger mirror too.

search de-flooding or flooded and follow procedures on getting it unflooded, then I would change your oil and possibly your coolant, but coolant isnt necessary

you also may of gotten oil into the intake, its not real hard to take the upper intake off,...check that and clean it out with some brake parts cleaner after you take it off the car

I still maintain that he was driving like a complete idiot that caused the roll. Will he admit it? Of course not. If he was driving normally and it was an accident caused by an avoidance situation, he would have stated so.

how did you manage to roll a freaking Rx-7? My mom used the excuse she was worried I'd roll over when she was trying to keep me from gonig to my first autocross, my friend was there and said "Hah! Roll a 7, that'd be so hard Mazda would probably give him a trophy and an Rx-8for being able to."

Aslo, the Rx-8 was titled the world's least likely to rollover car in 2006. Because of its low mounted rotary, which your car also has...... this thread amazes me.

Anyway, good luck getting her started.

it's easy.

too much speed + inexperience ( you can call yourself an experienced driver after a good 10 years of driving) + a fun road = car flipping.
