rims question

I spray painted my stock rims black.. now I want them the color of the bare metal Before I painted them, they were like a trashy white, I think who had the car before me painted them as well. Any ideas on how to get all that paint off? With it looking good?

Get them bead or sand blasted, you will have to take the tyres off though.

You can try something like Navel Jelly which burns off rust... The warning label says it eats away paint so it might work...

Just wear gloves and dont get any on your skin... Apply it to the paint and let it sit for about 4 or 5 minutes then wipe it off with a wet sponge...

Forget all that. Go to Autozone, thay have a paintstripper in a large can. It has a black top and is an Aerosol style can, the car on it is tan. Spray this on the rims and let it sit for 10-15 mins. (you can leave the tires on) Spay the paint off with a water hose. Repeat steps untill all the paint is off.... It works, i used it on many a set of rims.....
