I doubt he has clean buckets to carry all the fluids. Radiator + Engine oil, that's quite a lot of buckets, and they ain't cheap

No offense here, but I starting to see why there is no aftermarket support for 2nd gen ... even when Mazda sold so many of them ...

I think this is a shame.

Guy posts up major problems (with the added zest of time restrictions), the forum responds and in fact, offers to shower parts on the OP and then he...disappears.

It's like a Roadkill episode where Finnegan doesn't have "the best day at work ever"- where's our closure, our happy ending, the fruits of our largesse?

Or at least, a vid of the car burning to the ground.

I will say, this thread was a roller coaster from start to finish.

5/7 would read again.

There is life there, however.

Busted, non-running FC's on auto trader are going for $5,000, so do you blame him?

Kind of ticks me off he took advantage of the community to get it running.

And just where in hell do I sign up? The last FC I sold here in new England, I struggled to get rid of it... And it was in fantastic shape!

i can't picture anyone buying a non running FC anything for $5k, still.

the ads are decreasing and the prices are going up, but that doesn't mean people are paying.

It's like Beanie Babies. There's a ton out there and you can still find some on eBay and etsy for $50k+. That doesn't mean that someone actually bought one though.

so rare that there's 6 for sale on etsy alone...

FCs were the 2nd most manufactured rotary car produced, behind the RX8, the S1 RX8 which promptly bombed mazda to the point of killing rotary production(yes, they will claim it was due to poor consumption and emissions, but warranty numbers don't lie).

there is a couple semi rare FCs, like the 10th anniversary and the GTUs, but they hold little additional value over the standard manufactured comparative models.
