is this right?

I removed my turbo to get it ported and buttoned everything back up but is this vacuum line in the right place? Its the long line in the front of the turbo ofcourse. is this right?-035.jpg
I put it on this little hard line bihind the water neck. kinda hard to see but its that little tube to the left of that bolt in the center of the pic.

That hose is for the turbo duty solenoid, and I think that's where that hardline runs to. It's not present on my S4 TII.

I hope so. I can't find that hose in my chilton manual for some reason. It's not in the turbo system diagrams. I haven't read anything about it either. I'll have to look again.

Thanks hailers2 and rocket 88. I was just looking at this diagram. But is that little hardline in my pic it for sure. Its the only thingthat little hose fits and is long enough for also.

Only s5 had them. If you don't have it connected then boost will drop to 5.5 or 6.5 psi from 8. It's the stock ebc.

Just follow the hardline, or blow air through it and see if it comes out at the duty solenoid.

F it i made a phone call to someone. They helped me confirm the location. I have a manual boost controler that came with the car. Im thinking about hooking it up now that i understand how this works.

On these manual controllers, you just turn till you reach the desired boost level right? Im thinking about 10psi. i have an after market boost guage too.
