i all the bolts i used thread locker just for the heck of it i guess everything was Torqued down.

perty much all the gaskets went on with ultra black on both sides, stuff seals perty good, i had to take of the lim off sens i dropped a nut in it. after i took off all the bolts i had to tap it couple times for it to brake loose.

same with the turbo i decided to paint it after i had put it on....

i broke on of the front cover bold on the lower right side. i hope its ok, and the opm didn't seam to like up right, all the holes did but it didnt seam right... might be an S4 OMP on an S5 front cover not sure.

the car came with some 3" exhaust, i think i might be using that, also came with an rb down pipe. just kinda tacked not fully welded.

the other day when i was looking at the body i noticed that i have a turbo drive train. thats a plus. hope it works lol.

my friend kinda took couple of random pics. theres on with some kind of water bug that was living in a puddle on the rear hatch.

thers a pic of the old clutch and a newer clutch, the older one looked like it had thinker springs, i would of wanted to go with that but looked kind worn down. everything was perty rusted.

the last pics are how it sits as of tonight, i would of droped it in but i dont have a throw out bearing. ill have to order one, i dont think its a good idea to reuse the used one even tho it lookes to be in good shape.
i plan on maybe replacing flywheel and clutch soon but not sure.

one of the motor mounts seamed to be in ok shape and the other was completely cracked. i noticed when i went to push on it and it wasnt so stiff

i got kinda distracted when i was putting on the water pump and i forgot to put on the gasket you can see it in the pic.

it was a pain in the *** having to run back and forth to lowes to but nuts and bults, ill never but a parted out car again. too much work.

for injectors i will be running the stock 460's as primaries and 550's as secondaries, i hope theyll work with the harness sens i guess those are high resistance and the S4 ecu is low right?

its going to be hell trying to get this thing stared.

i replaced most of the vacuum lines, as of right now i will not be running emissions, i will add them later on. just to keep things simple for me. same with bac valve and what not. as you can see in the pics theyv bin blocked off.

fuel lines where also replaced.

no gasket for oil pan, just utra black. had originally bought some screws but they were too long so i had to go get some shorter ones.

considering you got most of a turbo car to build from, none of your poll answers fit.

also, lay off the silicone...

I am bothered by the fact that you want to run 460 primary injectors. The factory ecu is expecting to see 550cc all around. Both ECU S4 and S5 are looking for high impedance for the injectors Most 87 models had low impedance injectors and used a resistor pack to make the ecu see the 12ohms it was expecting, all others were high impedance factory but not all used the same style injector clips.

Just a thought before you put the engine in is to get yourself a new coolant temp sensor, the one the ecu sees for engine temp not the one of the gauge. That is a leading cause of flooding so its worth doing.

thanks for the reply,
when i took the engine apart it had 550's all the way around. i didnt put the other set of 550's back in sens when i tested them one shot kind of a funny stream of fuel, and the other i had to bang on a couple of times to get it to work, i didnt think they were the most reliable so i didnt put them in. as of right now i want to just break the engine in and thats why i thot it would be ok to use the smaller ones. do you think if i leave it how it is (460's as prime) ill run in to problems later on?

and this is the sensor on the water pump housing right?

Lolz at the RTV on the turbo.... I've done it before too though.

I would have used twice the stuff on the oil pan though.

Nice looking build!

lol i was told to put some on waste gate flange or what ever its called. the plate that covers the inner waste gate. and so i did the same for the turbo, i kinda thot it might just end up burning up, but its what ever i guess...

i really hope the oil pan doesnt leak....

and thanks
