Rewiring the fuel pump

You still need to upgrade the fuel pump if you planning on exceeding ~10psi.

i was actually about to do the rewire when i had a problem with no power going to the fuel pump, if u search this forumn hard enough youll find 100 reasons to do it and not to do it. what i suggest is to test the voltage going to your fuel pump using a volt meter or multimeter( same thing for your application), and check the voltage at WOT and make sure its reading over 13 volts( voltage may vary cant remember what exactly the voltage should read).
I decided not to go ahead and do this i just fixed the power problem that i was having and everything is running mint.
but the rx7 wires are known to be frail.
So choice is up to u.

oh yeah and the only benefit if everything is working poperly is that your burning rich at idle or low rpm's.
in my opinion this is only worth it if your not getting the right voltage to your fuel pump.

I am surprised nobody has mentioned using large a capacitor near the pump.

The pump draws pulses somewhat like a subwoofer.

Think about it..

If you do the directions that move the resistor pack to the back of the car you haven't changed the stock setup. Low volts at low load full volts at high load. You just increased the power wire gauge.
