I was looking on racingbeat.com at the intake kit for the rx8 that comes with a cold air box, filter, and MAF (http://www.racingbeat.com/FRmazda4.htm). Is there anyway the built-in MAF would work with our fcs? I have an s5 t2.

 

It does not come with a MAF. The 8 allso uses a wire sensor. It will not be usable on our FCs. Then again why would you want to replace a MAF designed system with another MAF? Just go stand alone and ditch it. The 8's intake style is HUGE good luck fiting it in your FC. There is not enugh room in my engin pay to put the intake filter from my rx8.

 

oh, I guess I misread the thing about the MAF. I was just looking for a better alternative then buying an used AFM from someone on ebay. Thanks for info.
