Rev Limiter

I have a question about a rev limiter. What would be the best way to put a rev limiter on an 86 GXL. I just want to get one for a safety precaution. Would I be better to just get an MSD 6AL or is there a better, cheaper way? Thanks in advance.

It has one allready at 7800 rpm,.. trust me, i hit it every single freaking day.

If you want it lower then 7800 you would have to purchase 3 msd 6al's , or 3 rev limiter boxes, or one msd 6al and 2 rev limiter boxes,..
