10 pages of crap/ 6port Turbo w/o Sleeves

I removed the 5th and 6th port sleeves from my 6 port block while I switched the manifolds over. (modified s5 turbo manifolds) IS IT OK TO RUN WITHOUT THE SLEEVES? I have a 50/50 answer from the search function. Does anyone really know?

Yes it is ok to run like that. The only downside is you lose a little bit of low end power. Im just finishing up my 6 Port turbo project and i've removed the sleeves without a worry.

6-port irons on turbo build

I used 6-port side irons in one of my turbo engine builds. I removed the sleeves and even all of the material between the round and the ovaled port. I also used JB stick to fill and round the entry. I modified the turbo LIM to match the huge intake ports.

This made for an engine that pulled really well above 5.5k. It did lack a little driveablility though.
