Question Retrofit FC fuel injectors w/ Viton inside tip area?

I was just trying to dig up some info about fuel injectors that malfunction after returning from cleaning/balancing (like trying to find a needle in a haystack) and I found this on an Audi page:

Viton ® TIPPED INJECTORS

In addition to the Viton ® O-rings that seal around the injector body, there are fuel injectors that use Viton ® seals inside the tip area. According to the Bentley: The Viton ® tipped injectors carry the following part numbers

(3.2 bar version, high pressure, fine thread, Audi # 035 133 551F, Bosch # 0-437-502-043, OEM Bosch version 0-437-502-044)

(2.5 bar version, low pressure, coarse thread Audi # 026 133 551, Bosch # 0-437-502-045, or OEM Bosch 0-437-502-046)

So I'm wondering - could the injectors on my s4 NA be retrofitted/redressed with Viton inside the tip area, as described above? I'd do it in a heartbeat if it would end my new BS flooding probs. This is assuming that the Audi injectors have a similar internal arrangement to our own.

Here's the page, which includes schematics (sort of) of the Audi injectors...

I've lost track of the number of times I've had my manifolds apart in the last 12 months. Right now my idle is rock steady at 750, several vac lines have been removed and what remains are all new silicone. There are no vac leaks on this girl.

Ive also heard the FPR line can cause this but have read differing accounts on which nipple it is. Anyone care to chime in?

i had to trace each line from the part (fpr, acv, etc) to the correct solenoid. it took about an hour with the book. car went from flooding hot to wanting to start hot

I'm sure, but I'm certainly not above going over everything with the FSM the next time I'm in there.

it needs to see intake vacuum and pressure. all else fails hook it to the spot that the solenoid got its signal from.
